HPC Wales offer a wide range of services and support for businesses and researchers to help them get the most out of high performance computing.
Our supercomputing services are split into three broad areas:
- Computational Services: Access to our integrated facilities and resources with its wide range of data and computational applications and software
- Consultancy and support: Help in understanding how HPC may be relevant to you, how to exploit the solution that’s most efficient and cost-effective, and access to a brokerage service to provide additional support where relevant
- Skills and training: A programme of specialised courses and workshops tailored to your needs

As all businesses are different, we work closely with you to define your specific requirements and identify the high performance computing benefits most relevant to you.
Key steps
1. We consult with you on your initial project requirements
2. We review the HPC services that may benefit you and assess feasibility/ funding options
3. Where relevant, we help identify options for research collaborations and training
4. Together we agree the scope of HPC Wales services for your business
5. You attend an initial workshop/training to introduce you to HPC Wales
6. The research project is ready to run; support is provided through our Outreach and Technical teams
